Hello, I’m Caitlin

Generator, visual storyteller, creative problem solver and late night Pinterest junkie.

Creative expression is in my blood. It runs through my veins and it’s what feeds my soul. Growing up in a family of female empowered artists, I was fortunate enough to be able to learn how to use art and creative process as a way of self expression, releasing pent up emotions and manifesting my wildest dreams.

I have a background in Fine Art, Sculpture/Installation, Advertising & Graphic Design. I’m inspired by colour, composition, pattern, sacred geometry and the ways that we have used art to tell stories and share our experience for thousands of years.

My road to entrepreneurship started off right out of high school in the equestrian industry coaching kids and adults how ride along with training and selling young horses, which later on morphed into running equestrian vacations to Ireland as a summer gig to pay for school.

I started my Marketing career in Sponsorship Advertising and have had the opportunity to work in a multitude of different Industries on both the client and agency side, ranging from the Financial Sector, Non-for-profit, Sporting Goods, Home Appliances and Power Tools. I have lead and developed creative teams for some of the biggest household brands in North America and currently consult on process and team development for in-house creative teams and boutique agencies.

In 2020 my family and I purchased a 1960’s chalet on 97 acres in the Blue Mountains of Ontario. What we thought was going to be an Airbnb and family ski getaway quickly morphed into an even bigger idea of turning it to a luxury destination resort and wedding venue. We now own and operate Highlands Estate.

When I’m not working you can find me chasing after my beautiful/spirited daughter, puttering around in my garden or planning our next renovation project (shhh don’t tell my husband).

Living with Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease

It’s all good. It’s just Parkinson’s.

While it’s something that does affect me physically day to day I don’t let it cast a shadow on my zone of genius and the work that I do. Some days are better and some days are worse. So if you see me shaking, twitching or moving funny know that I am totally ok.
